Kennedy turned 8 last week!!
I can't believe she is already eight years old. It seems like just yesterday it was just the 2 of us .. with daddy too of course. I know every mom thinks their kid is the best, but seriously, this kid is the best. I hear nothing short of rave reviews from all her teachers and most everyone she comes in contact with. She is kind, giving, smart, funny, adorable, sensitive, caring etc. etc. I was telling Tyler recently that I don't know what I did to deserve such a great daughter. I must have done something right, my heart is full. I am blessed. Maybe, just maybe, I can take a little credit for the amazing young lady she has become. I love that girl a lot.
A few things about Kennedy at 8 years old : She is the most UNpicky eater ever. She loves to draw, color and write stories. She is in gymnastics twice a week and is kicking butt. Her favorite color is still red and she wants to be an artist. She is huge help around the house and always asking if something can be her "chore" which means she wants to do that job everyday. Love it.
She has been counting down the days for weeks. She had a few friends over for a party and they had so much fun. I made tiny tea sandwiches, (pink lemonade sandwiches, as we called them.) they painted each others nails and faces, played some games and had cupcakes.
