Skunkins

We carved pumpkins this year ON Halloween.

How do we forget every year?

Tyler found THE biggest pumpkins for SO cheap at Winco.

The kids were so excited to pick out HUGE pumpkins.

Can't beat 8 cents a pound!!

Kennedy jumped right in and pulled out the "guts"

Surprisingly, Lincoln thought it was "uck"

and wouldn't touch them. He made me fish out the guts. Thanks.
As happy as she looks (weirdo) she would only use a spoon. Wuss.

Seriously, look at the size of those skunkins!
(I had a dream once where I kept calling pumpkins "skunkins" and now I can't not call them that .. humor me.)

We let the kids draw a face on and then we cut it out.
The top one is Reagan's - notice the arms. She was quite disappointed when daddy wouldn't carve a whole body too. Lincoln just scribbled all over his pumpkin with the marker, so I made one up for him. His is the little guy on the left.
Kennedy drew hers on and Tyler did a great job cutting it out just how she drew it.
Maybe next year we'll have them out a few days early, and maybe I'll even buy tea lights so we don't have to use glow sticks. Maybe.
