Tyler had Friday off, after grueling Parent Teacher Conference all week.
Such a trooper.
We took advantage of having him home, and took the kids the Dinosaur Park in Ogden.
It's not the shortest drive for us, but the kids LOVE that place.
And since I'm awesome, I packed a picnic lunch.
Seriously, the kids were singing praises to my name. Self esteem booster for sure.
I even wrote their names on their individual brown paper sacks, adorned with stickers and filled with little baggies of goodies. They literally ate every single bite. Even the crust from the PB&J (which the 2 youngest NEVER eat)
I am amazing.
Photos are out of order ... but I'm not gonna fix it.
My acorn, so cute. Until I broke it's hat off.
The 2 men in my life. Love them

K's flower. I always put them behind my ear, so they continue to pick every one they can get their hands on.
3 cute kids, not afraid of dinosaurs.
It's really an acorn, but shhh don't tell her. She hung onto that thing all day.
Did you know Target has silly bands in their $1 section. Scented, adorable and incredibly annoying silly bands I might add.
Let me share a conversation I had with Kennedy when I finally gave in and bought them.
Kennedy: Mom, everyone in school wears these!
Mom: Okay, you can pick one bag.
K picks the strawberry scented fruit ones, and I don't hear a word about it the rest of our trip, until we're on the way to the car.
Kennedy: Mom can I have those bracelets now?
Mom: No, let's wait until Monday for school.
Kennedy: But I want them now, please.
Mom: No, they'll get lost. You wanted them for school, lets wait until Monday.
Kennedy: (in her most snotty voice) I'll bug you!
She had this bratty look on her face, hand on her hip and very mater of factly said
"I'll bug you."
And she meant it. She intended to bug the crap out of me until I gave in.
Normally I would give in (and she knows it) A woman can only take so much!
But I held out ... just out of spite. I can out bug anyone!

Ya know how most mothers say "I hope you have a child just like you"? Well you have and it makes me smile (even giggle just a little) Be strong young grasshopper she must learn young that you are stronger.
