More Funnies

Just a few more funny things my kids have done/said

*We were out shopping, and I told Kennedy to ask dad if it was okay to buy some Jammie's
Kennedy: Why did Dad have to buy these Jammie's for me? Did you not have enough money?
Me: Yep! Daddy NEVER gives me no money!
Reagan: Is that because you get it gone too much?
Me: dumbfounded ... couldn't say anything
Reagan: I told you, save your money!

*The kids were all swinging at the park, and going pretty high. They were trying to think of tall things they could compare themselves to ...
Kennedy: I'm Moroni!
Reagan: I'm God!!

The kids were outside eating their lunch on the deck. Kennedy runs in and freaking out tells me there is a bird on Lincolns shoulder. Sure enough there is a yellow and white cockatoo on his shoulder, and Lincoln is just fine with it. I of course think it's a devil bird, because what on earth is that bird doing on my kids shoulder? Plus he had some beady little eyes. So I of course yell for Reagan to get my camera. I only had to yell because I was freaking out. The girls were NOT going back outside, so I figure it's okay to make them run some errands. Then I yell for Kennedy to get me my cell phone. I proceed to call Tyler (who is across the street helping our neighbor install a new roof...plenty close to come to our rescue.) He just thinks I'm crazy and laughs, the camera battery is of course dead, and Lincoln of course is enjoying the "pirate bird" on his shoulder. The outcome? It started biting his neck/hair so I snapped a towel at it and scared it away while yelling for the kids to come inside quick! Missing a cockatoo? Get that devil bird out of my yard!
And 1 sweet thing to end. You know it's true love when he goes to the gas station to get you oreos at midnight. And you know it for sure when he comes home with every kind of oreo product available just to cover his bases.

What can I say?! Your kids are adorable. Do you remember when we were in San Francisco and the big ole bird landed on Eliah's shoulder? Makes you wonder what these birds are thinking. Keep the posts coming I've got to hear what they come up next:)
