A Perfect Circle

Next Thursday I will finish my 3rd season as the head coach of Hillcrest High School's Wrestling Team. I have grown so much since that first season and am already looking forward to next season. My wife affectionatly refers to herself as a "Wrestling Widow". I can't thank her enough for raising our children all those nights I was at a match, a meeting, a tournament, practice, etc. I also have the greatest Assistant Coach anyone could ask for, a big thanks to the Gist Family for Eddie. I realize more than ever how much coaching is a "thankless" job and if you don't love it you don't stand a chance. So if you had a coach you feel like you didn't say thank you to enough, give them a call, they will appreciate it more than you will every know.

You are setting a wonderful example for these young men. It might be years before you hear a thank you from any of them, if you ever even do, but I'm sure they appreicate you and look up to you. Keep up the gooe work.
