What's wrong with this picture?

That just doesn't look right. And no, he's not just a bony shouldered man.
Yep, that's a BUSTED collar bone ... and my closet in the background.
Tyler was night skiing over New Years, and this is the result.
Did he come straight home and go to the Dr. ? Nope, he finished snowboarding and went to Denny's first, of course.
At least it wasn't his fault. I would have been a little upset if he was trying some stunt. Two trails converged, the guy from the other trail was going pretty fast and Tyler and him ran right into each other. But you should have seen the other guy. Just kidding, other guy is completely fine.
We don't have great out of state insurance coverage, so it was a whopping 5 days until he got into a Dr. Luckily a girl in my ward got us into her office and we were able to cut out the middle man (you know, the one who refers you to that guy, who refers you to the other guy etc.)
The Dr. took one look at the x-ray and said on the 5 point scale (1 being the least, where they send you home in a sling) he's a 5. Yep, a 5. All tendons and muscles are completely shot ... gone. He has surgery this Wednesday. They are putting cadaver muscles/tendon in his shoulder, and doing a graft.
Cadaver, as in dead person. Wow. I'm trying to make light of the situation. Poor guy. Hopefully things go well, and he recovers quickly. And in the middle of wrestling season, not good.
Pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Icky shoulder, cute wreath hanger
This guy snuck in, once again

Yes, cadiver - Brenda, Ida and I were talking about his surgery at Grandma Meikle's - you should have seen Brenda and I trying to explain to Lisa what a cadiver was and how it was so helpful - sorry, but you should have seen the look on Lisa's face (horror) (I even supply some info on what it means to be an organ donor trying to explain further- which didn't help at all - so we changed the subject :) Hope he is healing and doing better. Love and hugs from Aunty Colleen
