While playing at the park the other day, Lincoln found this bottle top. He was entertained the whole time by putting little rocks into the cap. He would fill it all the way up (which takes a while for his 14 month old little fingers) and then dump it out and start over.
It was so neat to watch him thinking and learning and being a boy. Such a simple thing, making him happy.
He held onto that cap full of rocks all the way home.
And now it sits on my counter, reminding me that simple pleasures are what life is about.

I LOVE it!! I can't wait to give him a huge hug!!!
So sweet. Treasure these moments. I'm trying to take President Monson's advice and not get caught up in the thick of thin things. This litte cap of rocks is just that...it's a "thick" thing.
P.S. I really like the new look but could you maybe change the color of the background? It is hard for these old eyes to see the print.
