HomeComing

Tyler's cousin Jake just got home from and LDS mission in Switzerland, and his homecoming was last Sunday. I'm so thankful to live close to family, and be able to support them all.
He gave a great talk, and then it was over to aunt Mel and uncle Jay's for lunch! It was so yummy, and then we chatted for hours. Kennedy LOVED playing with our cousin Erin's little boy Cooper (anytime you want to have a play date Erin ... call me!!.) They're only a month apart, it was fun to watch them interact. Usually Kennedy is so shy, especially around boys. Even Reagan and Gavin were chillin on the tractor, they had so much fun. The tractor was definitely the favorite "toy." Thank goodness Jay took the keys out, I can totally see one of my kids starting it and plowing everyone over! Aside from their clothes being BLACK after jumping on the tramp, it was a great day.
I have a confession, WE STOLE THE COOKIES TIM AND CRYSTAL BROUGHT!!! They didn't get eaten, and they were oreos. I'm the mastermind behind the crime, Tyler is only guilty by association, that and he took them (but it was for me...so I think it's really ALL my fault!) You can eat lots of grub at our place tomorrow ... it's Kennedy's birthday tomorrow and we're going to have a sweet Halloween themed party!! Pictures to come.
p.s. during church, Lincoln had THE worst blow out diaper ever. It was everywhere, and he thought it was pretty funny. He was laughing, it was pretty cute ... except that he had diaper mess everywhere. I made us all wear fall colors so we could get some cute family pictures, but that went out the window ... because Lincoln is a poo monster! Hopefully we can get some cute fall pictures soon.

sooo.... if you love oreos you HAVE to try this... melt andes mints in a pan on the stove with a tiny (like a teaspoon or two) amount of crisco, then cover oreos with the choc. and set them out to dry over night... they are SO addictive!
