I can't believe Kennedy is already 4 years old. Where has the time gone? She made me a mother and for that I love her so much. Being her "mama" is the most wonderful blessing in my life. I'll be ever grateful to this little girl for allowing me this opportunity. Here are 4 of my favorite things about Kennedy Joy:
1. She's independent - ever since the day she was born, she has wanted to do things herself. She wants to be a "big girl" about everything. She has neve liked being held, she wants to do her own thing, always. While I wish I could get snuggles more often, I love that she is so motivated to try everything herself. I love that she is constantly challenging herself. She never thinks she can't do something, she always believes that she can accomplish even the smallest things. She really sets a good example of self worth.
2. She's girly - without any effort on my part, she is such a girl. I admit that I love dressing her up, and the kid has more clothes / shoes then anyone I know, but even without that she would still want all pink ... all the time. She loves to dance, play dress up, wear my jewelry, put on make up and loves to show off and get complimented when she thinks she's looking good. She refers to herself quite often as "princess Kennedy" and loves to dance around the house.
3. She's a daddys girl 100% - I married Tyler because he's a good man and I knew he would be a good father. It warms my heart to see them so close. It just reaffirms my faith in him as a dad. All day long she asks where he is and when he'll be back. She loves to draw pictures for him and constantly says "oh, daddy is going to love this!" She runs and hugs him the second he gets home and fights hard for his attention all day long. She shows off for him and will keep showing off until he notices and compliments her. She tells me "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to daddy." quite often. While I do wish she thought I was even 1/2 as cool as her dad, there is nobody else I'd rather have her look up to then Tyler.
4. She's funny - She cracks me up all day long. "Geese mom" is her catch phrase lately. Anytime I get inpatient or do something weird it's "geese mom." She tells jokes, that don't make sense, but the way she tells them makes me laugh. She makes up songs and hums all day long. Even her made up songs get stuck in my head. If she gets embarassed she quickly says "never mind" and gets really shy. She picks on her siblings to no end and thinks it's so funny when Lincoln laughs at her. She loves to be the center of attention and eats it up. She's a spunky little girl, with quite the personality and I love her.
Kennedy, Happy Birthday. When I found out I was pregnant, I wanted a girl so bad. I loved you even before you were born. I just knew we would have such a special bond. We are so much alike, we drive eachother nuts sometimes because of it. I know we will have such a great relationship, and that it will only become stronger as you grow older. May you one day get to expirience this much happiness too, I love you.

Very cute!! Happy birthday! You have such a cute family! Hey, I don't know your address, but I thought I would invite you up to a jewelry party I'm having on Saturday at 1. If you would like to come let me know and I can give you directions to my house! Your kiddos and hubby are welcome to come and can play together.
Happy birthday to our little girl. Lacey, now maybe you have a tiny bit of an idea how I feel about you. I love you dearly. You know that we'll always have a "special bond" and that I "love you the most". Give the kiddie's a hug from me.
I hope she had the best day in the world!!! I can't believe she is already 4! WOW!! I love you all so much!
