Family Fun and a HOT BUTT!

Saturday we went out to Wyatt and Tami's for some more 4Th of July FUN! They had a slip n slide .... well a big roll of sheet plastic because the slip n slides were sold out. But they work just as good, if not better. They are way wider and just as long, just put the sprinkler to the side and voila! Plus it was only $6. Wyatt would throw Cayson, not throw but kinda push gently :) Cayson would SCREAM, after a few times he finally warmed up. When Tyler tried that with Reagan she was loving it! She couldn't get enough of the water, and Kennedy would make Wyatt go the same time as her. It was fun to see them get so into it! Tyler said I should try going too, and that maybe the baby would pop right out...and that seriously made me want to!
After that, we had some good old BBQ!! Yummy. Then his neighbor (who bought 9500 fireworks) put on a show for everyone. Free show, it was great....UNTIL my butt caught fire! Literally. Some of the firework "shrapnel" as Tyler and his brothers call it was flying right toward Tyler and I (we were 2 houses away!)but I didn't think it would still be on fire by the time it got to us, or that it would hit me!! It was like slow motion, it landed right on my chair/butt. But I was sitting in a camping chair and I'm 38 weeks pregnant, I couldn't get up before it reached me! So Tyler jumps up and launches me out of the chair....but not before my butt is hit. I have 4 or 5 big holes in my cute pink & brown chair and 3 holes in my FAVORITE maternity shorts. Not to mention burns on my hiney! Just my luck huh?! At least it didn't hit one of the kids or my face, I guess I could try to think positive.
Even with my ouchie bum, it was still good to have all the fam together.
Pictures of Tami's new dog. Kennedy and Reagan wanted to hold her ALL night. Thank goodness that little dog is nice, they sure loved her. And one picture of the kids after we finally got home. They look not so alive. They were so pooped! But not pooped enough to sleep past 7:00 a.m
