Tyler and Kennedy are new camping buddies. A few weekends ago, Tyler took Kennedy along with his friend Matt and his litte boy Bennett camping over night. I thought he was CRAZY! But he said Kennedy was a perfect angel the whole time. She helped (as much as a 3 year old can) set up the tent, gathered sticks for the fire (and even tried to make her own little fire.) roasted her own marshmellows, peed in the woods (more the once and without help or toilet paper...yuck I know, but good job for her!) and slept in the tent without making a fuss once. I was SO proud that she did so well. I think Tyler was really excited that he can start taking her camping and hiking more. We've always been worried that she'd freak out and then we'd be in the middle of nowhere...and then what? Here's cute Kennedy and Bennett...she says he's her "friend" and "Matt likes me." I'm glad they had fun!

Pee in the woods? She is sure not her mother's girl. You would not even let the air hit your bare bottom. You are more of the motel type of camper (just like your mother). Why leave a perfectly good house with a bed, running water, fridge, you know all the good stuff, and go stay outside? Just doesn't make sense to me.
