Sleep update

Reagan is still going to bed without a fuss and sleeping through the night...if Tyler puts her to bed. She's been the PERFECT sleeper, since Tyler took over. Why didn't I think of this sooner?!! Kennedy, now that's a whole different story. She has been horrible at even the idea of sleep for the past few months...yea months, it's really crappy. She'll nap just fine (and Tyler says that's why she won't sleep at night, but if she didn't nap she'd be grumpy, I'd be grumpy....it just wouldn't be good...for anyone.) And believe me, we've tried everything. I'm ready to give her cough syrup...heaps of it, every night. Okay, I'm not that insane, but I'm seriously running out of ideas, and my patience...well, it ran away along time ago. And yes, even Mr. amazing (tyler) can't get her to stay in bed either. I know, hard to believe huh? Cross your fingers that things improve, and any ideas would be awesome, even though I'm sure they are already on the long list of things we've tried. AND NO SAYING I SHOULDN'T HAVE HER NAP, CAUSE MOMMY NEED SLEEPY!

Lacey you seriously crack me up. The whold "Mr. Amazing"...that's funny. If it makes you feel better we are going through the same thing with Paige right now. So we have to do the whold night time routine...brush teeth, read from her special book {The Book of Mormon}, go potty, say prayers, follow her to her room tuck her in give hugs and kisses, turn on her humidifier and her light {down low, thank goodness for dimmers AND a husband who's an electrician and can install them} then we have to leave the door open just a little and reassure her that we will come in and check on her IF she stays in her bed. We have also had to tell her to just lay there awake if she isn't tired but she has to stay in bed. ALL that and she will still get up a time or two...or more on occasion, we just have to continue to escort her back to her bedroom it's fun isn't it?!?!? So we feel your pain. Good luck...and if you figure out something that works let us know. AND if you find a good medicine share the love also. ;)

Gotta love 3 year olds!

#1 Bring the cough syurp with you this weekend.
#2 Looks like I'll be sleeping in the basement with the girls.
#3 How much does this job pay?!
#4 Try not napping as long.
#5 Try napping earlier.
#6 Pull your hair out. (She won't sleep better but atleast you'll feel like you're trying something different).
#7 If all else fails...Duck tape...

Your coming here this weekend??? I'm going to Centerville!!! Dang, I was hoping for somewhere to hang out while there was a FULL house at the inlaws. Maybe next time... I will leave a bag of clothes with my mom and you can pick it up from her. What day are you coming? Chow

It must be the age. Cooper does the same thing, however he gets out of his bed like 5-7 times before he stays put. Cooper as well takes a nap (which I am not willing to give up either :) The only thing that seems to work, is bribing him...we tell him that if he stays in his bed he will get a special treat the next day. It actually has worked. Good luck!! Let me know if you find something that works and pass it my way :)
