Crystal tagged me, so now you all get to read about the most wonderful subject...ME! Enjoy. Oh...and I have to tag 5 people, (do 5 people really read this blog?) Tami, Gina, Christen, Ashley (you can put yours on facebook) and Chris and Brit Mitchell...cause I know Britianey reads my blog (thanks!) and Chris sorta kinda has a blog for raquetball, not that they ever get to play raquetball...so it never gets updated...but seriously, those are the only people I know!
What I was doing 10 years ago:
Well, I was 14...so that's 9th grade. I moved from Berthoud Colorado (highschool) back to Idaho Falls (jr. high..lame) That took getting used to. There were only 2 months left in the school year...so I had to make friends fast, before highschool. It kinda helped that I had lived in Idaho Falls until 5th grade, so I knew a lot of people already. I remember playing softball that summer, I think we were the fruit monkeys or something...again, lame. I think I was "going out" with Blaine, he he. Fun times.
What I was doing 5 years ago:
Hmmm. I was 19...so young. I was at Ricks, and seriously, loving EVERY minute of it. That was the time of my life! I wouldn't trade any of the expiriences I had there for anything! Even some of the weirdo's I dated (and no, I'm NOT talking about Tyler)I was having so much fun. Even the school part wasn't so bad. I met Tyler that winter. Wow. That seems like forever ago. I definitely had more of a love life! Ha ha, now I've got kids ... and dirty diapers up to my elbows! Wow, how we used to make out (sorry mom) hours....those were the days. Now we can't make out without laughing. I didn't have any worries then, life was a breeze. I was just living in the moment, and having as much fun as possible.
One year ago:
I was super pregnant. I hate that I look 9 monhts pregnant, from about month 2. Kennedy had just turned two. She was so little, some of my fondest memories. She was such a fun baby, and a good baby too. Tyler would love me to mention that this time last year was the best ever Boist State football season. As much as I really don't care about football (it's not that I don't like football, it's just that, if I wanted to see chubby men tackling eachother, I'd throw a Fowler reunion...zing!) But it really was a good season for them...and can you belive that Zabransky didn't go pro?!
Yesterday:
Sunday. We pretty much lounge around the house until church at 1:00. Then our whole day is off schedule. I'm not so impressed with 1:00 church, especially having kids. After church, lunch (Tyler makes the BEST quesadillas) and a way too long nap. Then, football (of course) on the boob tube, and more sleepy. Not too impressive, but I love the uneventful days that I get to spend with my family. Nothing to worry about, just hanging out...those days are the best.
5 snacks I enjoy: Chips and Salsa (definitely #1...add a little cream chesee..OMG!)
peppermint ice cream, pizza, string cheese, and oreos....the whole bag please.
5 things I would do if I had $100 Million:
SAWEET! Well, I buy a pink mini cooper, and maybe even a cream colored bug while I'm at it. Then I guess Tyler can have a new scooter...that's it! That's all he gets. And maybe some crab meat too. And I buy a spankin new house....nice, but not huge cause I don't want to clean it, and I don't want some weird lady cleaning up after me either. (I alreay got a mom...ba dum chhh...drums) I would definitely get one of those California closets, and stock it with some awesomeness for yours truely. And mabye put some away so my girls can rock it in the future. And maybe I'd give a little bit more to Tyler, I'm kinda feelig guilty. And finally, I'd help out the parents, for always helping me out.
5 places I would run away to:
Assuming I got to go by myself (isn't that what running away is?) I'd go to the beach for sure. Alaskan cruise, Idaho (to see the fam) a movie (I haven't been to the theatre FOREVER!!!) and then I'd miss my family too much, so I'd go home and spend some time with my lovies.
5 TV shows I like: Grey's Anatomy forsure! The Office, The Hills (gotta love the drama) DIRTY SEXY MONEY, and OMG I can't believe OCTOBER ROAD is coming back!!!!
5 things I hate doing: My most unfavorite thing is folding the whites....I would rather change a poopey diaper then fold my white laundry. Vaccuming, cleaning up the toys for the 100th time, doing dishes, grocery shopping with 2 kids!
5 biggest joys of the moment: Kennedy, she is such a little lady. She is so spunky, and makes every day fun for both me and Reagan. That little girl is absolutely hilarious. "check it out mom" is her new favorite phrase. I can't get over how grown up she is. I absolutely love watching her take on her role as big sister. She is so protective and (usually) so good to share with her sister. I know she will be such a good example.
Reagan. She is growing up way too fast. She follows in Kennedy's every footstep. She can almost walk, and that blows me away. She lets me snuggle with her whenever I want, and I LOVE that more then anything right now. I can't believe I have 2 perfect kids. Don't get me wrong, they can be horrible....but being a mom is my favorite thing in the world...second only to being a wife.
Tyler (he should really be on the top of my list, for without him...all of my other joys would not exist) He is the most amazing person I know. He is so selfless and takes such good care of his girls. I can count on him for any and everything. He is so responsible and really does everything he can to further himself so that we can have a good life. Without him I'd be lost. He is my best friend, my companion, the love of my life.
I'm SO enjoying our new ward. I'm grateful every single week to have such a good relief society. And such good ward members. I LOVE living in Bountiful (which means, again, I'm grateful to Tyler for letting us live here. It really isn't close to school or work for him...infact, his commute is wicked awful)
And last, I'm grateful to be at home. I love being a mommmy. I love not having to think about anything else but being good at the mommy and wife thing. Those things alone are enough work for me. I love knowing I don't have to leave my family ever...unless I want to (I love AMM scrapbooking classes!) I love knowing I'll never have to worry about finances, my husband has such a good head on his shoulders. I love having a husband who knows what he wants, and is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that. I love that what my husband wants, includes me being at home. I love knowing that we will always be taken care of, and that Tyler will always work his very hardest so that I can be at home. What a good man my husband is...oh wait he was already #3 on my list!
